A moving, flowing, physical practice incorporating strength, flexibility and balance. Strong emphasis placed on breath work, mindful movement and anatomical alignment. Playful sequencing carries you from the foundational postures to more challenging poses, always with modifications and alternatives.

A vigorous, athletic version of Vinyasa. Expect more emphasis to be placed on heat building in the body, moving briskly through the foundational postures into invigorating and dynamic sequencing. We will work with focusing attention on mindfully exerting effort in the body while keeping the breath steady, nourishing the relationship between body and mind.

About Andrew

Andrew has an athletic, contemplative style built on his study of Astanga Yoga and various forms of Vinyasa Yoga. He teaches a moderately paced, flowing class with a strong focus on alignment and form.

With the understanding that all bodies move in unique ways, he explores variations and modifications to postures, looking for a sustainable yoga practice for everyone.
